What a transformation over the last two weeks...
What am I looking at?
Roland LX-705, a beautiful and professional digital piano.
Studio lighting for clean crisp video.
Mac computer running Logic Pro X for students who compose, and for me to create backings for students to enjoy and practise with at home.
MacBook Pro (running Windows!) acting as host for web streaming and online lessons.
Rode Podcaster microphone for quality audio.
Sennheiser headphones to prevent feedback and echoes that could be distracting for students.
CME 25-key Keyboard for close-up demonstrations. Incredibly useful!
Roland MT-90U for MIDI and mp3 backings and rhythms.
Kawai & Panasonic sound system to allow students to hear backings, rhythms and exercises easily.
Samsung phone for FX management.
LG phone for instant scanning and cloud upload for students homework notes and music. Also for use with Dubb streaming on the (out of view) Roland LX-706 piano, so I can record new pieces for students, and they can see my fingers and hear high quality audio streamed very quickly to their home.
iPad to host a range of apps used for education. Also acts as host for ClassDojo to give instant feedback to students.
Tea. In lessons I am powered by Peppermint tea, Lemon Ginger tea, and especially Jasmine Green tea! Outside of lesson time I am powered by curry!
Puppets! They are my very helpful friends for teaching younger students online.
Steinberg UR22mkII USB Audio-MIDI Interface allows me to connect devices together.
Black cardboard - works wonders for greatly improve document scanning.
Sticker charts (and stickers), great for encouragement.
Studio licenced music and exercises: thousands of legal, studio licensed pieces from Wendy Stevens, Daniel McFarlane, Nemesis Music, Petrucci, and more... so students have lots of fun and educational pieces to play!
