How To Replay Your Lesson

You can stream a recording of your lesson, or download it to watch it later, for free!

If you wish, your online lesson can be recorded so that you can watch it later.

This makes online lessons much more productive, as you can go back to check what it was that Stephen said (unfortunately, his jokes don’t get any better when you hear them again!).

This means that you can listen to who well you did (cool!), or you can listen to Stephen play a new piece for you, so you know how it goes (also cool!).

Please note: the system only stores lessons for a month or two, so if you want to keep your recordings, you should download them promptly.

Here’s how to download your lesson!

1. Find the email that confirmed your online lesson:

2. Select the “Link to video call” link.

‎You’ll see the “Upcoming Meetings” page:

3. Select the “Past” option.

You’ll see a list of your past lessons.

4. At the bottom right of the dialog box, select “SHOW RECORDINGS”.

A list of the past recordings will be displayed:

5. Depending on your device, you’ll be given an option to either VIEW, STREAM, or DOWNLOAD your lesson:

VIEW will let you see your lesson almost at once.

This is great of you’re in a hurry, or you don’t want to download and save your lesson.

Important: VIEW will let you watch your lesson, but it won’t keep a permanent copy.

‎‎

DOWNLOAD will mean that you will have to download the lesson recording before you can watch it, but you’ll be able to view it over and over again without any additional bandwidth - and you can keep it for as long as you like.

You can watch your lesson using your device’s own media player, or can use a different media player of your choice.

BTW: I’m not sure why the filename has to be so cryptic! Please feel free to rename it to something more sensible, like “My Piano Lesson, May 5”.
